Autonomous Mobile Robot

CSA was asked to perform an audit and gap analysis of an existing functional safety team and documentation. A detailed report, including actionable tasks, was delivered to close the gaps and lead the program to a successful certification to ISO 13849 and accompanying robotics standards.

CSA has worked with a truck manufacturer to develop a plan to certify the trucks’ safety equipment to ISO 13849, ISO 19014, and ISO 17757. The team developed a safety management plan to guide the certification, created a Hazard Analysis Risk Assessment (HARA), and wrote the safety design documentation.
